James Jones is Experian’s Head of Consumer Affairs and leads the company’s public education programme – for example, explaining the role of Experian’s credit reference agency, what information is held, how it is used and the rights consumers have.

James began his career at Experian in 1992 after graduating from Cambridge. Before moving to a role in Consumer Affairs in 2000, James held several other positions at the company, including a six-year stint in Experian’s contact centre where he set up and ran Experian’s first telephone help desk for consumers.

James loves travelling, sport and real ale, and regularly combines all three following Nottingham Forest.

James is also an ambassador for the Nottingham-based charity School for Parents.
